Our journey and history, intertwined with the Swiss town of Lucerne which provided a place of safety and growth for our founders, symbolises fresh green growth, a vision that has sustained our agricultural businesses for over a century. Our humble beginnings started with a single farm in the Robertson District, and has since flourished into a comprehensive fresh produce production and value-adding business.
Our commitment to growth began with the strategic acquisition of Klipboschlaagte farm in the 1980s. Since then, our business has consistently expanded, showcasing our dedication to sustainable development. Today, our operations stretch across seven farms, each contributing to our annual production and offering employment to over 1,600 individuals.
As we look to the future, we have plans underway to construct a 1-million cubic meter reservoir on Klipboschlaagte. This development will allow us to establish 150 hectares of additional fruit and vegetable plantations on fallow land, and provide 100 more jobs.
